When Jennifer Squires and her boyfriend wanted to build their own greenhouse who could have imagined how easy and beneficial the process would be. With hoarded windows from a prior build, recycled shower doors for the roof and an end-of-the-pile deal on timber the rest was just a little ingenuity and raw effort.

After the successful project build, Jennifer wanted to encourage others to do the same – especially those with cooler summer months like her own.
I’ve talked about building your own greenhouse here before but this solution seems a little more robust and long term. While constructing a cheap greenhouse from inexpensive materials may get you into gardening space quicker this idea proves that with a little more consideration and use of rigid recycled items the end product should be far superior – and just as easy.
